Welcome, Coach Sian!

Welcome Sian Elliot, a recent UEFA B Licence graduate, who has joined the club as a League Team Coach.

Sian’s playing and coaching experience started from the age of 12 at Upper Beeding FC, before moving to Worthing Town FC. Steyning Community FC then became her home, where she played for three years and coached for two.

Finishing university with a Degree in Sports Coaching Science and a Masters in Sports Performance Analysis, Sian has also recently completed her UEFA B Licence and will work alongside Ann Harvey to lead the league team in the 23/24 season, supported by FA Coach Mentor Carly Farrell.

Sian said:

“I’m really excited to be involved with Brighton Seagals FC. They are a talented bunch, with smiles on their faces. I'm looking forward to being able to support individuals and the team, to challenge them and see them develop.”

“The committee are delighted to have Sian on board. We spoke with our local FA Coach Mentor, Carly Farrell, in the off-season about wanting to improve and increase our female coaching workforce, and as a result we have found a great match in Sian. She has come into the club with lots of enthusiasm and has hosted some brilliant sessions during pre-season. We are incredibly lucky to now have two UEFA B level female coaches leading the league team, who bring a wealth of knowledge and encouragement to our players.”
